About the Author of Now I Know My ABCs and a Whole Lot More

Tina O'Block has taught preschool and kindergarten for the past 15 years. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Penn State University and a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.

As a teacher she knows that planning age appropriate lesson plans for 3, 4, and 5 year olds can be very time consuming and challenging! That is why she decided to develop a book that allows teachers to have everything they need to teach the alphabet right at their fingertips. All of the ideas have been "kid-tested" and used successfully in her classroom. Knowing that 3, 4, and 5 year olds differ greatly in development and fine motor skills she designed activities and worksheets that vary in ability level so that preschool/kindergarten teachers can use them in all their classes to reach every student and parents can use them from year to year as their children grow and mature. She hopes that this book will aide teachers in preparing our young children for a bright educational future.
