Children learn to appreciate numbers and their uses. Additionally, number cards are introduced to reinforce the symbol/word association. They become aware of the different shapes, sizes, and spatial concepts by hearing and seeing these concepts presented in a variety of ways. Young learners begin to notice numbers, shapes, and colors in their environment. Later, they reinforce what they have learned by using the puppets to retell the stories amongst themselves.
