Familiar stories and rhymes immerse children in written and spoken language while building content area skills. The children will become immersed in print and use their developing language and social studies/science skills in purposeful activities. Students will learn phonetic sounds, hear rhyme and rhythm, and begin to understand language structure and scientific concepts.
