The book contains a collection of weekly units, including objectives, discussion ideas, and five daily activities. Detailed directions for the pages within each unit are found on the teacher sheet at the beginning of each section. Each unit comes with a cover sheet that can be attached to a large, folded piece of construction paper. Children can color the cover sheets. As the discussion and activity are completed each day, they can be placed into the folder. By the fifth day, the booklet can be stapled together and sent home. The weekly booklets will provide parents with a record of the ideas covered during the week. Teachers will also have a way to organize thoughts and materials. Finally, the children will have an organized way to take home their weekly work, and they will enjoy making a new book each week. Following the units is a series of alphabet activities, one for each
letter. These activities can be introduced in a variety of ways. Patterns,
directions, and a list of necessary supplies for these activities can
be found in the back of the book. Grade Level: Preschool - 5th Grade
